I am a senior research scientist at Google DeepMind with a PhD in psychology from UC Berkeley. My full CV can be found here.
A computational cognitive neuroscientist, I combine methods from artificial intelligence (e.g., reinforcement learning, neural networks) with those from cognitive psychology and neuroscience (e.g., controlled lab experiments, neural recordings). I am particularly interested in cross-disciplinary questions about mind and brain, including those related to learning, decision making, cognitive representation, and structured thought.
